Welcome to Oil Painting with Anne McNally!
This is a beginner to advanced oil painting class designed to bring you to your next level in painting, and if you’re a beginner, to teach you the fundamentals in a fun and supportive environment.
Classes are taught in a group environment with emphasis on individual more detailed instruction on a need-by-need basis, and are held on Tuesdays from 6 to 8pm, beginning May 22nd, 2018, and continuing for 6 weeks.
Your instructor is Anne McNally, an established and award-winning artist who has previously taught painting for over 14 years in the Hampton Roads area. Anne’s body of work reflects an extensive background of painting. Oil renderings of classic subjects in the impressionist style, she also paints contemporary abstraction; a distillation of familiar subjects painted with energy and emotion. Her lifelong love and fascination with color and light is evident. She believes that classic subjects and the abstract expression of them can co-exist. Many paintings draw inspiration from the Virginia landscape.

Class dates are May 22nd, May 29th, June 5th, June 12th, June 19th, and June 26th. Class dates are subject to change, but session will always include a total of 6 classes.
Age Level: 16 and up.
