Join us in our fully equipped pottery studio at 1511 Colley Ave in the heart of the beautiful Ghent section of Norfolk as you explore the possibilities of creating on the wheel!
Learn the basics of working with clay and jump right on the wheel to learn and practice various throwing techniques - each student has use of a wheel for the entire class - no waiting or taking turns.
The course fee includes hands-on instruction time, all bisque and glaze kiln firings, plus all of the following:
Plenty of clay to make projects during class
Glazes - Large selection of over 50+ colors including specialty glazes, all available for the pieces you create during class
Open Studio Sessions - Enroll in a 6-week class and you'll get access to our Open Studio sessions - 2 Friday or Saturday sessions come completely free with your 6-week class enrollment
Additional clay is always available for sale at the studio at discounted rates for students - ask your instructor for details

Mondays: 17 and up, with parents permission.

Supplies Required: Students must supply their own apron and hand towel.
STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND THE FIRST CLASS. Students who cannot attend the first class must switch to another session and will be charged a $35 fee. All classes are subject to The Dragonfly Art Studio policies, found here.
