CLAY COIL CREATIONS – CREATING IN CLAY USING COIL CONSTRUCTION
A 2-part class focused on making clay creations using the ancient art of coil building.Â
This is a 2-PART CLASS – Choose the date below that you would like to start – class will be held on that date and the same time the following Saturday.
Interested in Ceramics, but the Pottery Wheel just is not your thing? Join us for CLAY COIL CREATIONS – our 2-part Saturday clay workshop where we explore the ancient art of coil building in a relaxed, comfortable, and engaging environment in our fully equipped ceramics and pottery studio at 1511 Colley ave in the heart of beautiful Ghent Norfolk.
Learn the basics of clay and the tools used to create clay coils, and the techniques used to property assemble into whichever form you prefer!
Also, in addition to the 2 2-hour instructional classes, you also get a free 2-hour OPEN STUDIO SESSION to come in and work on your own time and at your own pace, in order to finish glazing your creations!
Minimum Age – 14 and up – under 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian who is also registered for the class
Cost: $125, supplies included
Cancellation Policy: Due to the short length of this class, we are unable to provide refunds for cancellations. If you cancel 7 or more days prior to the start of class, we will work with you to switch you to a date in the future.
