JULY 13 – 16 / JULY 20 – 23
A pottery and ceramics camp experience for teens / pre-teens focused on the pottery wheel and hand building ceramics skills.

Welcome to DRAGONFLY POTTERY CAMP – an exciting and creative experience where young ceramics artists explore their creative side while learning all about creating with clay on the pottery wheel, and hand-building their own projects.
Our Camp takes place in our bright and spacious and fully equipped ceramics studio in the heart of beautiful and historic Ghent Norfolk filled with all the materials and supplies needed to bring our young artists’ visions to life. Not only will campers have fun and create amazing works of art, but they will also develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as their confidence in their self-expression.

Dragonfly Pottery camp is led by experienced and passionate instructors who are dedicated to guiding and inspiring our campers, and providing hands-on instruction, personal attention, and constructive feedback to help children develop their skills and confidence. Our camp is inclusive and accessible to children of all skill levels and backgrounds – everyone is welcome to join and participate.
Dragonfly Pottery Camp is a fun, safe, and engaging environment for children to express themselves, make new friends, and experience the joy of creating – the perfect adventure for young artists!
Our new Pottery Camp runs from 9:30am to 12:30pm each day, Monday through Thursday at The Dragonfly Art Studio at 1511 Colley Avenue in the heart of beautiful Ghent Norfolk.

Important Information for Parents and Campers:
- CAMP HOURS: Our camp hours are from 9:30am until 12:30pm, with pick-up promptly at 12:30pm. Before or after camp care is not available. Please be considerate to our staff and pick up no later than 12:30pm. Parents who are late will incur a $20 fee at 12:35pm and for every subsequent 10 minute increment.
- DAILY DROP-OFF: Daily check-in is at 9:25am. Please understand that doors do not open until 9:25am, as our staff is busy preparing for camp.
- WHAT TO WEAR: Children should wear comfortable clothing and shoes that can get dirty. They should also bring a sweater or sweatshirt.
- WHAT TO BRING: Please send your child to camp with a prepared snack and bottled water each day, labeled with their name.

GENERAL INFORMATION & POLICIES FOR ALL SESSIONS:
- Photographs taken during camp may be used in promotional brochures, print publications and other media, and/or The Dragonfly Art Studio websites and associated social media, to promote our education programs. Your registration and payment signifies that you agree to allow images of camp to be used as mentioned above.
- Disruptive behavior will first be addressed with a verbal warning, second with time out, third with a call home. If behavior problems persist, your child may be removed from our camp permanently. Refunds will not be given for a behavior dismissal.
- Space is limited and camp typically sells out, so please reserve early. In the event of unforeseen circumstance causing Art Camp to be canceled or postponed, or due to lower than expected turnout, we will fully reimburse all admission fees paid.
- All participants are subject to, and, by enrolling and registering in Art Camp, agree to, and electronically sign our RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY and PHOTO RELEASE along with our standard studio POLICIES.
