This is an introductory course suitable for the absolute beginner in Drawing through to intermediate level.

This course will be 2 hours EACH SATURDAY AFTERNOON from 2 p.m.- 4 p.m. starting on December 19th, 2020. Learn the basics of how to draw facial proportions, how to draw life like features, and how to add Value to your Portrait drawing to make it even more realistic!

In this class you will be provided with charcoal pencils, both white and black, tan toned paper, an eraser and blending stumps. There will be 3-4 projects for this course. The first project will be a Self-Portrait – when you arrive to class, please have a photo of yourself ready to go! This photo can be printed out, or on your phone. It is strongly encouraged that, in the photo you choose of yourself, you are looking directly at the camera! The second project will be a Portrait of someone from your family that you love or admire. The last two Portraits will be up to you! Come join us and let’s get to drawing!
